Watch Pinoy Celebrities do the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge

WATCH the list of Pinoy Celebrities who joined and does the good cause and helped to grow the awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS).
Several weeks ago, everyone on Facebook and other social media sites has started dousing themselves with an ice-full bucket of water, from Bill Gates to Mark Zuckerberg with a good cause to raise awareness of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS), a neurodegenerative disease which is also known as the Lou Gehrig's Disease.

WHERE ALS ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE BEGAN?


The movement to raise awareness for ALS called the “ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE” began in Boston in honor of Pete Frates – A 29-year-old former captain of Boston College’s baseball team who was diagnosed with ALS also known as the Lou Gehrig's Disease, two from now.

The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is really a fund-raising project until it became viral campaign. The rules are simple if nominated, participants have choices: either get drenched with a bucket full of ice water or donate $100 to the ALS Association in the United States or any foundation pursuing research on the disease.

The viral campaign has an astounding report on donations which is according to the ALS Association report, $31.5 million was garnered just between July 29 and August 20 from both participants who simply does the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge and still have donated the money.
