After Miss Israel, Doron Matalon posted the controversial photo which is seemingly an innocent photo of four smiling gorgeous ladies greeting a 'Good Morning' on her Instagram profile, The Lebanese media ‘Al Jadeed’ dropped on Miss Lebanon that since one of her hobbies is reading, she should have read that Lebanon and Israel are technically at war, although the conflict has been minimal over the past nine years.

Miss Lebanon in her defense said 'She photobombed us,' amid cries for her to be stripped of title.
Greige took her explanation to Instagram, says she had been trying to avoid communicating with and taking a photo with Miss Israel since arriving at the competition.

To all my supporters and Lebanese citizens, I would like to thank you indeed for your continuous support of Miss Lebanon at the Miss Universe contest... The truth behind the photo, since the first day of my arrival to participate to Miss Universe, I was very cautious to avoid being in any photo or communication with Miss Israel, who tried several times to take a photo with me. I was having a photo with Miss Japan, Miss Slovenia, suddenly Miss Israel jumped in and took a selfie, and uploaded it on her social media. This is what happened and I hope to have your full support in the Miss Universe contest.

Meanwhile Miss Israel, Doron Matalon re-posted the original photo, says she wasn’t so surprised by the uproar, but it really made her “sad.”
